Welcome to the City of Coimbatore. The second largest city in Tamil Nadu is known by many names - 'The Manchester of South India' - for its excellence in cotton, yarn and hosiery industry; 'Educity' - for being an educational hub with world class universities and education institutions; and now also as 'Medicity' - for having a large number of highly advanced specialty hospitals that attracts patients and doctors for training from world over.

The city is well connected by air, rail and road and is well known for its culture and hospitality. It is also the gateway for the three hill popular stations - Ooty (also known as Queen of Hills), Munnar which has sprawling tea gardens and Kodaikanal which is well known for its beautiful lakes. There are many more local sight seeing and shopping options that will keep the family busy and engaged.

Coimbatore is a perfect destination for anyone who wishes to watch nature at its glory through is picturesque views. Apart from providing many tourist spots within the city itself, Coimbatore is strategically located to fall in route to many famous hill stations. There are many tourist spots around accessible distance of the city.



The Dhyanalinga is a Yogic temple located 66 kms from Tirupur, India. The temple was consecrated by Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, a yogi and mystic. The temple is consecrated using prana prathista and is dedicated for meditation. Silence is maintained inside the temple. Dhyana in the Sanskrit language, means meditation and linga means form. Dhyanalinga is claimed by the owners of the temple to be a powerful and unique energy form created from the distilled essence of yogic sciences and the first of its kind to be completed in over 2,000 years. The Dhyanalinga Yogic Temple offers a meditative space that does not ascribe to any particular faith or belief system.


In Sanskrit, "Achalam" means "Mountain". As the mountain here are surrounded by Marudham trees, the place is known as "Marudhachalam" and "Marudhamalai" in Tamil. The holy shrine of Marudhamalai is believed to remove both physical and mental afflictions and attachments as the hill abounds in Medicinal herbs. The holy cow 'Kamadhenu' is believed to have grazed in the pastures of this hillock and drunk from the springs under the Marudham tree as per Perur Puranam written by Kashyapa Munivar.


Black Thunder Theme Park

Black Thunder is considered Asia's Number one theme park and if you are in Coimbatore, this is a definite must visit. Kids and adults alike can have a blast in this lovely place. The park is beautifully landscaped and thanks to the Nilgiris reaching out to the skies in the background, the weather is cool and pleasant.Black Thunder is a place where you can let your hair down and have pure unadulterated fun. The park teems with visitors, all coming there with the sole purpose of enjoying themselves. And they sure do! As they take the various rides you can hear shrieks of excitement punctuating the air!


Topslip is located above the 800 feet from the sea level on the Anamalai mountain range. It is a small place in Indira Gandhi National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary that lies in the Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu at the southern part of the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve. Separated from the Nilgiri Hills by the Palghat Gap on the north, the Park is contiguous to the Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary (Kerala) to its west and to the Eravikulam National Park (Kerala) and Chinnar Wild life sanctuary.



Beside the waterfalls, cascades and green slopes there are more about Kodaikanal that promises to make your holiday a memorable one in kodaikanal. Kodaikanal is a mesmerizing hill station located amidst the Palani Hills of South India. It is one of the refreshing summer retreats in this part of the country. Set at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level, Kodaikanal soothes the visitor with the cool climes. The surrounding forests provide great trekking opportunities and some awesome scenic views. There is also the beautiful Kodai Lake famous for its natural beauty. The not so adventurous can enjoy strolling around this place and spend a quite and relaxing vacation. A boat ride in this lake can also be a very good idea.


Munnar is a town in the Western Ghats mountain range in India’s Kerala state. A hill station and former resort for the British Raj elite, it's surrounded by rolling hills dotted with tea plantations established in the late 19th century. Eravikulam National Park, a habitat for the endangered mountain goat Nilgiri tahr, is home to the Lakkam Waterfalls, hiking trails and 2,695m-tall Anamudi Peak.



An important and Interesting Tourist spot of Tamilnadu. This place is also a place of visit in the summer season for its chill climate. Udagamandalam-Ooty in short is called as the "Queen of Hills". It is located at the tri junction of Tamilnadu, kerala and Karnataka. It is at 7500 feet above the sea level and finds its location in the Nilgris (also called as Blue Mountain). Nilgris is a beautiful mountain range which is a part of Western Ghats. Totally there are three places to visit namely Kothagiri, Coonoor and Ooty. Among these three Ooty is given the primal importance because of its scenic Beauty and excellent climate conditions.
